Courses management

 

The Courses management section allows a user to view and manage all courses that they administer and create course templates that is a course which is saved as a template which can be used for other courses creation. To pass to the Courses Management page, go to Courses management - > Courses management in the left menu. As a result, all courses for which you act as Administrator will be displayed:

To manage courses in the list, use the buttons at the top of the page.

Please note that the Courses Management form does not allow you to add courses. You can create courses only if you log into the learning system as a Teacher.

Tip: To provide better viewing representation, you can sort out the list of courses using the filter fields at the top and at the bottom of the page.

•        In the Display# field select the number of entries that should be displayed in the Courses list;

•        In the Course categories field select the category to which the courses should relate;

•        If the Category you chose has subcategories, another Course categories field will appear under the Course categories field.

 

 

Editing Courses

 

To edit a course:

1.Go to Courses management - > Courses management in the left menu.
2.Select a check box next to a necessary course and click the Change icon () at the top of the page.
3.Modify the properties of the course on the course edit form:

4.Click the Save () or Save & Close () button at the top of the page to save the changes or click the Cancel () button to discard changes.

In the administrative area there is a section related to course management. It's Categories.

 

Categories

 

You can add new course categories, edit them and delete. Besides this it's possible to define levels for categories using a drop down list on the top right corner of the page.

To add courses categories do the following:

1.Go to Course Categories -> Categories Management. The list of existing categories will be shown:

2.Click New () button to create a new group. The following form will open:

3.Fill in the open form and click the Save () or Save & Close () button at the top of the page to save the changes or click the Cancel () button to discard changes.

 

To manage categories in the list, use buttons at the top of the page.

Using the Configuration item in the Course Categories section you can manage the categories of different levels.

 

Courses Templates Creation

 

To work with Courses Templates go to  Courses management -> Courses templates. The list of Course Templates will be displayed

To create a new Course Template click New () button. The following form will open:

Type the new Course Template name and select a course using which you want to create a template from the Course drop down list. Then click the Save & Close () button at the top of the page to save the changes or click the Cancel () button to discard changes.

 

To edit or delete courses templates in the list, use buttons at the top of the page.
